I’m Patrick Carmichael - drummer and composer in New York.  On this site,  you can hear samples of my drumming, my composing, and even purchase my tunes. There are even a few fun pages for your enjoyment (as if my drumming and composing aren’t fun enough!!).  Now, I understand that a there is an abundant supply of drummers in New York, but I manage to stay busy, which should serve as a testament to my professional worthiness, but check out my “drumming” page anyway.  As far as my “composing”, I studied it extensively when I was younger, but up until a few years ago, writing remained mostly a hobby.  Lately, my writing has become more of an integral part of what I do. By the way, a lot of people have asked me why I use the name “tornpajamas”.  Well, I wish I had a more elaborate answer for that question, but the answer is that it just somehow popped out of my head one day as I was exploring domain names for myself.  Needless to say, every version of my real name has been taken already, including my solo project, Flea Circus.  So, rather than coming up with something cryptic or abstract, people never seem to forget tornpajamas!!
