My Son Alex, my friend and hiking buddy Rick, and I climbed Mt. Lassen. It was a great day. Mt. Lassen is one of only two active volcanos in the continental United States. It is 10,457 ft. high and had snow covering much of the trail up. This was Alex’s first assent of a mountain over 10,000 ft. high and I was very proud of him.
