Rick and I set off to climb Mt. Amelia Earhart. We hiked to the Vogelsang High Sierra Camp, then camped near Ireland Lake. The next day we set off for Earhart but only made it to Potter’s Point because there was too much snow on a skinny ridge up to the top of Earhart. We didn’t think it was a very safe place to slip and fall, so we enjoyed Potter’s Point and had an adventure of a hike back to the car.
