Battle of the Paddle Oct 2009

The best paddlers in the world show up to battle for a share of the $25,000 prize money. Jamie Mitchell won $10,000 for 1st place. Slater Trout flew in to finish 2nd and take $5,000 back to Maui. Drew Brophy painted an amazing mural. There were thrilling waves with 10 or more $3,000 boards colliding in an unprecendented display of carnage.
