Doctor Who and the weekly 1985 Snapshot

I was about to upload the newest sneak-peek at 1985 from Mark Millar and I, when we decided to go ahead and include a preview of the Doctor Who cover I just wrapped-up for the next Tripwire annual.

I’m such a fan of the show, that I jumped at the offer to paint a WHO cover for Tripwire.  It’s done in the typical fashion, with acrylics, prismacolors, ink, and gouache on Bristol at about 11”x16”.  Some of the lighting effects were enhanced once the painting was scanned.

I’m really looking forward to getting my copy this May.  Tons of stuff is happening that month:  The Ride for Kids, a weekend motorcycling vacation in the smokey mountains, and the retail releases  of both Studio Space and 1985.

Speaking of 1985-  Here is this week’s snapshot....

BTW- The RIDE FOR KIDS charity exclusive Star Wars lithograph is selling well (half of them are gone), and donating tons of wonderful donations for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
