the Ride for Kids Charity 2008

On May 4th, 2008, Motorcyclists from all around the North Carolina will join forces in the annual effort to raise much needed funds through the charitable RIDE FOR KIDS.
Supporting the efforts of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, The Ride for Kids® works to find the cause of and cure for childhood brain tumors. This Motorcyclist's program also serves as a educational support program for patients, their families, and the medical community.
My friends from the local CBA motorcycle group and I took part last year and helped contribute to our ride’s total of over $90,000. Two thousand of those dollars were donated by friends and colleagues who chose to sponsor me directly through the TLE BLOG and other donation sites.

May is just around the corner. And this year, I have even more incentive for people to help in the fund-raiser.
Lucasfilm Ltd has graciously decided to help the Ride for Kids and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation this year by joining forces with Tommy Lee Edwards Illustration to produce a limited-edition lithograph. These prints are limited to a mere 300 copies, all of which are signed and numbered by me.
Sticking with the theme at hand, this full-color exclusive print features a squad of (racing)Biker-Scouts taking a break between rides. The large lithograph measures 30” x 15”, and is printed on an 80# cold-press museum-quality cover stock.

ALL profits from this print will be donated to the Ride for Kids by on the day of the ride.
With every $30 donated to Ride for Kids through this website, you will be sent the limited-edition STAR WARS lithograph via the USPS sealed in a high-quality tube.
