In 1996, Christians in the United States and Ghana established the Village of Hope orphanage in Ghana, West Africa. Over the years many orphaned, abandoned, and needy children have been given basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and education. More importantly, these children have been given the good news of Jesus Christ and the hope of eternal life.

Currently the Village of Hope consists of an orphanage, primary and junior secondary schools, clinic, street children’s program, and vocational training.

The orphanage has 5 houses, with a large duplex soon to be completed. When this house is finished, 150 orphans will be cared for at the Fetteh campus. Each house has one set of house parents and 20 - 24 children.

Hope Christian Academy, located on the Village of Hope campus in Fetteh, provides Christian education for 340 children from the orphanage as well as the community.

The Andrea Browning Clinic, also in Fetteh, provides medical care for the children, house parents, and workers at the Village of Hope. The clinic also serves the people from the surrounding villages.
