I have survived the revolution of digital photography. Some of you visiting this web site know of what I am speaking. Others may ask, “What revolution?” The days of conventional photographic methods have been replaced with digits and pixels. Flash memory and wireless connections. Bit depth and channels. Gone are the days of film and enlargers. Developers and fixers. Light boxes and loupes.
Images are sent to clients via email with a few clicks or keystrokes. Hardly a challenge. Not like the time I had to deliver a B&W print to an art director - ASAP. I drove my VW to his office while holding the RC print out the window to dry.
I will always enjoy viewing transparencies on a light box. After all, it’s the original image created by the lens. A film image is unfiltered by software and algorithms. Everything had to be right when you released the shutter. There was no Photoshop slider to tweak the exposure or saturation.
But I have embraced the digital age. I’m too young to be a dinosaur. All the images here are digital captures. But that doesn’t matter. What matters most is the image. These images reveal the world as seen through my eyes.

The images above are but a few of my favorite photos and represent my interests in high speed photography, panoramic, nature and of course Street Rods. Enjoy the images that I share here and visit often.
