I was born and raised in Atlantic City--little Harriett Bernstein.

Straight out of high school I moved to NYC to pursue the lively arts. I landed a job almost immediately with The Radio City Rockettes but that was short lived as I was thrown off the stage when their famous pinwheel was spinning out of control. But, that night Cecil B. Demille was in the front row! I signed and was cast as a stunt woman in The Ten Commandments, nu? 

I continued in New York getting the odd understudy job. I briefly worked as an airline stewardess in the 1950's. Always entertaining, I was singing on a flight from Chicago to New York (my popular Jolson medley) when the plane hit a big air pocket and I dropped a whole tray of drinks into a passenger's lap!  Ach, as fate would have it: Syd Levy!! Our love blossomed (AND he was a BIG producer) and we moved to Ventnor, N.J.  Sydney died in 1989. He was struck by a jitney in Atlantic City while rushing to get to my final dress rehearsal of A Little Night Music (Desiree, the role of a lifetime) at the YMHA. I can’t say I ever fully “recovered” from Sydney's death but I continue to put my best foot forward. I am richly rewarded in my newest career as a personal life coach.  I use many of my life coaching skills with my audiences as well, leaving them more enriched.  It’s a win-win! And to keep my voice nice and strong I enjoy my part-time job as karaoke hostess at the Millville (N.J.)  Motor Lodge.
