“The gears engaged.”
This theme came about from the idea of engagement and what that means from a practical application. As an icon, gears embody engagement both visually and rationally. The key guidelines are represented by seven different gears or gear compositions, each one being a different color. rationale

Through engagement you can grow.

This theme was chosen to graphically represent the toolkit engagement guidelines by illustrating the stages of a
growing tree.

From beginning to end the stages of a tree are (like the guidelines) essential in the growth of relationships, individuals, productivity and business through engagement of its employees and customers.

The nature images are approachable, captivating, and can relate easily to the stages represented in the engagement guidelines. rationale

Chairs suggest the interaction of people. The idea here is to create a range of emotions, personalities and situations with either single, same, or different groups of chairs to represent the different guidelines and brieflets.

In each photograph a situation is taking place... whether it be a meeting, conflict, deep thought or a relaxing conversation. rationale

This concept is more abstract than the others, but extremely flexible and no less effective. The visuals represent the raw concept of engagement and convergence in a completely harmonious and efficient relationship. The input and output is smooth in the engaging transition from beginning to end.

The greatest advantages to an ethereal visual are that it initially allows the viewers to bring more to the table, and within themselves create a qualified interpretation of engagement inspired by an exciting range of color and depth.
