The University of Tennessee at Martin hosted this year's edition of the West Tennessee Outdoor Youth Jamboree. The event had outgrown its former home in Kenton, Tennessee, drawing nearly 3,000 young people for a full day of outdoor fun. Some of the activities included clay target shooting, archery, wildlife identification, firing of a TWRA rocket net, demonstrating turkey trapping techniques, calling contests, along with deer, duck and waterfowl seminars.
We captured some of the event highlights for this Wildcast on video. Mark your calendar and plan to attend next year's event.
