Speech from 2006 predicting the sub prime collapse. This guy is compelling and appeals to me because of the his belief that the system failed due to the distortion of fundamental values. However, since he is active in shorting the market in sub prime (at the time), I think he fails to understand that he is in fac part of the system he derides...
however, I watched the first, then the second, third ...
 
 
I still fail to understand the lack of anger in the US or the UK at these goverment/banking policies.
 
On January 25, 2008, Peter Schiff was appointed as an economic adviser in Ron Paul's presidential campaign. Schiff made the following statement concerning Paul's economic revitalization plan: “We need a plan that stimulates savings and production not more of the reckless borrowing and consumption that got us into this mess in the first place. Ron Paul’s plan is the only one that amounts to a step in the right direction. If you want meaningful change - for the better that is - Ron Paul is the only candidate capable of delivering it. The others merely promise to continue the failed policies that are at the root of our current economic problems
