2008 KCC Corporate Sixes

The second KCC Corporate Sixes event will be held at the Kowloon Cricket Club on Sunday, 26th October 2008. Last year’s event attracted much interest and a bigger and better event is planned for this year.

The event will only be open to a maximum of 8 teams and it is hoped that it will attract the creme of Hong Kong’s Corporate Sportsmen. The event will be organised as a great day for the family and special facilities and services will be laid on for all who attend - whether as players of supporters.

Teams of 8 players will be able to register for HK$12,500 whilst guests can join for HK$800. These prices include all cricket activities and full F&B service throughout the day.

The event has been timed to whet the corporate appetite for the 2008 Hong Kong Cricket Sixes tournament that will follow two weeks later.

To raise funds for its tour to England in 2008, the KCC Cricket Section has put together a number events, where it is hoped to attract sponsorship etc. One of the most ambitious of these events is the ‘Kowloon Cricket Club Corporate Sixes’ which will be held on Sunday, 14th October 2007.

The inaugural event will only be open to a maximum of 8 teams and it is hoped that it will attract the creme of Hong Kong’s Corporate Sportsmen. The event will be organised as a great day for the family and special facilities and services will be laid on for all who attend - whether as players of supporters.

The event has been timed to whet the corporate appetite for the 2007 Cathay Pacific / Standard Chartered Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes tournament that will follow two weeks later.

KCC Cricket Tour to England 2008

The KCC is preparing to embark on its first major overseas cricket tour since 2000. Plans are well underway for the tour which will run from 28 June until 14 July.

The tour, which is the brainchild of Matt Collins (pictured above), will be an intensive cricket odyssey with 8 or 9 cricket matches planned over the 14 day tour. Travel will be restricted to the greater London area and south and west of England. Players will be expected to share accommodation throughout the tour.

Conditions of joining the tour are:

The size of the tour party will be restricted to 18 players.
Players who join the tour party may be required to share accommodation with other players.
All tour participants will be expected to help with fund raising efforts for the tour and/or with tour preparations.
Members signing up for the tour will be required to pay HK$1,000 per month towards the cost of the tour. This money will be used as a deposit towards the final tour cost. Members dropping out of the tour before 1st November 2007 will receive a full refund of their deposits.

A waiting list is available for anyone wishing to join the tour party.
