The day started with an air of anticipation as 6 enthusiastic corporate teams were vying for the coveted title of 2007 champions.

Matches were played in a fun, yet competitive spirit with many of the day’s contests resulting in extremely tight finishes. The carnival like atmosphere attracted a throng of spectators and sponsors who were there to enjoy the fast paced sixes action.

The grand final proved to be a tremendous tussle with the team from Butani Jewellery securing a narrow victory over HBZ Finance in front of an excited and jubilant crowd. Congratulations to Papu Butani and his team on becoming the first ever KCC Corporate Sixes champions!

An enormous amount of credit must go to Robert and his F&B team. We are still receiving comments about the superb level of catering and service offered by KCC staff on the day. So we sincerely thank you for sharing the Cricket Section’s vision and making the day truly memorable.

Also, a big thanks to all of the volunteers who gave up their valuable time to support this event. There were a lot of roles to fulfill on the day to ensure that things ran smoothly. We thank you wholeheartedly for your contribution.
