We were lucky enough to be able to combine a long weekend (holiday for Australia Day) with a trip to the farm and a Wonyip Landcare meeting. We’d also been invited to dinner up the top of the hill at Trevor and Susie’s place, followed by a musical soiree with three groups performing - Melissa, Philip and Sam Webb, myself and Ruth, and Trevor. It was a great evening, enhanced by an amazing electrical storm that came flowing towards us from the north. Trevor and Susies house is on the top of a cleared hill with unimpeded 360 degree views, a wonderful place to see such a spectacle. The Landcare meeting the following day was also good, including a barbecue. Mel, Phil and the boys left for home on Sunday, Ruth and I stayed over till monday.
