I have this struggle when it comes to blogging--that it is really an ostentatious thing for me to do.  I mean, how pretentious do I have to be to post tidbits about my life here and there for anyone in the world to read, expecting them to care or have any reason to heed my words.  I love the connection it gives me to people--literally all around the globe--but at the same time, to at least some degree I feel uncomfortable with the idea.  This heading is for me, not for you, to remind me that the words I write should not be done haphazardly.  That I should not hide behind my screen, but let this site become a last step in the excitements and happenings of life.  My posts should be something that I have become deeply acquainted with and cannot wait to share with the world.  In other words, may there be much more standing than sitting!
