-nineties. And that’s when I snapped up this happy little shelved number. The cream finish was IKEA. The pinkish-purple roses were a stencil. What I liked about this particular stencil was that it came in layers, indicating which colors should be used on which layers. This helped give the roses a depth I couldn’t have achieved on my own. Painting-for-Dummies, really. The remaining details were done free-hand with a paint pen. All I did then was change the plain wooden knobs to some new porcelain knobs with roses on them. Easy-peasy!
