Thom Marriott is a Canadian actor and voice over artist.  He has worked and trained in all forms of media arts for over twenty years.   


Currently in his third season as a member of the Shaw Festival acting ensemble in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario, Thom is appearing in Noel Coward’s BRIEF ENCOUNTERS and playing the leading role of Harry Brock in BORN YESTERDAY.  


His versatility as a character actor has taken him literally around the world, appearing on stages in Stratford, Chicago, Toronto, and Berlin.  Some of his most critically acclaimed roles include:  Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; the Duke of York in Henry VI; Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night; Duke Vincentio in Measure for Measure; and the chorus Gower in Pericles.  For a larger profile of his theatre accomplishments, click on the directory above.

 

Thom has trained at Seneca College School of Communication Arts, Simon Fraser University, the National Voice Intensive, the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training, and holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from York University.
