They were a little more than he’d originally quoted, they smell a bit like smoke (the guy who covered them is a chain smoker) but I have them and I think they look fantastic!!!!

Although lilly padding is a term I was unfamiliar with until recently, it seems it’s something I do a lot of. For those of you who haven’t heard the expression before, it means to job from one job
They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but I say nay for this is not only my very first attempt at refurbishing a vintage Shasta but also my very 1st attempt at blogging. I swim in the ocean of the unfamiliar. Pray I do not drown.
