Back from our First Shasta Camping Trip

Sorry the photos are a little blurry. I think the camera lens was smudged.

We took our Shasta out on it’s post interior renovation maiden voyage and loved it. It was raining when we arrived and to not have to set a tent up in the rain was a delight. We had the Shasta backed into it’s spot and stabilized and ready to go in all of 5 minutes. I was a little sad that our vintage awning didn’t arrive before our trip. But it’s my own fault for being so indecisive about the colour and waiting so long to order it.

We stayed at the Long Sault Island Parkway campgrounds (where the wash houses are few and far between) on the Woodland sites. It’s a nice spot on the St Lawrence river on the Canadian side, near Upper Canada Village where we spend the day on Saturday. http://www.parks.on.ca/village/home.htmhttp://www.parks.on.ca/village/home.htmshapeimage_1_link_0
