What drove me to buy a a 1962 Shasta Airflyte in need of repair? I cannot answer that question. But I did it, drove all the way to New Hampshire to pick it up. Jumped through all the hoops they presented me with at the border, paid my dues for residing in Canada and moved on to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Here I was presented with several more challenges and a few rings of fire through which I leapt as quick and nimble as if I where Jack himself. hardly a singe mark to be seen on the cuffs of my trousers.
So here is my new Shasta in all it’s glory, legally registered here in Ontario.

An ironing board, because we must always look our best, especially while camping.
Pretty clean for 46, but does it work? I hope to find out someday.
Groovy light fixture. But what’s hiding behind the cheap piece of ply?
What you can’t tell from the pretty pictures is how it smells. Count yourself lucky.
