The 2008 Kilteasheen Excavation Webpage

Kilteasheen is a medieval ecclesiastical settlement in Co. Roscommon, Ireland.  Survey and excavations began at the site in 2004, and concluded in 2009.  The excavations are sponsored by the American Institute of Irish Archaeology, the Institute of Technology-Sligo Department of Archaeology, and St. Louis University. The site is located on the Riversdale Estate, owned by Mr. and Mrs. John and Tina Burke.  As always, we are very appreciative of all of their support.
