Solomon’s Porch Men’s Blog

A revolution in relationship to sex, human sexuality and the male and female genders is long overdue. Most religions and cultures think that anything related to these subjects is taboo. From a Christian perspective, this has been true for many centuries. The problem with this is that in the original languages of the Christian Scriptures (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek), this was never the case. Human sexuality, contrary to some religions and cultures (including Christianity), was originally acknowledged and celebrated as a crucial part of the human experience.

So, with this said, I am offering any man who struggles with sexual issues a life preserver. This life preserver is very unique. It is based on a literal translation of the Scriptures, on an intimate daily experience with the Lord Jesus Christ, and is in no way based on our current fear-based, prudish mentality, as it relates to this very important subject.

This blog is about and for men and their sexual issues and struggles. This isn’t  a blog designed for talking about our struggles in great detail, although we invite every man to use this blog as a place to get it off their chests. We want it to be a place where we can also come freely to find answers for those struggles.

This blog is NOT a place where men are invited to come to complain about their upbringing, or their ex-wives or ex-girlfriends. It’s not a whiners’ blog. It is a blog of hope, a place where the truth can be told and where freedom can be found.

This blog is NOT a place where women are invited. No offense, ladies, but you have plenty of places you can go on the Internet to talk about sex or to complain about men.

My name is Michael A. McGrath. I am a retired U.S. Navy veteran. For many years, I struggled with sexual issues in my own life. My struggles, in spite of my religious faith, had a detrimental effect on my life as a man, on my marriage and on my family. Basically, it nearly destroyed me, but it destroyed my first marriage and family, with long term negative effects.

So, if you are a man who is struggling with sexual issues, and you are looking for answers, this might be the place for you. Join Solomon’s Porch and discover things about yourself you might never have known. Who knows - you might even find true freedom. If I had a blog like this when I was going through my own struggles, I might have concluded my suffering sooner, and saved myself years of heartache and disappointment. You’ve got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
