Some of us feel the need to pay God back for all He has done and to make up for our inadequacies and failures. But, the solution isn’t to try harder, make bigger promises, and fail again. Craig tells us that a better way is to be in a growing relationship with God and to give God and others the same love God gives us.

It has been said that the longest journey a person must take in life is the eighteen inches from the head to the heart. We looked at knowing about and experiencing God’s accepting, absolute, unconditional, and unlimited love for us. To dig deeper read chapter 3 of Crazy Love by Francis Chan and “Praying Through Clenched Teeth” by Fred Craddock.

It’s easy to think that today is just another day. We go through our to-do lists and appointments. It is easy to get caught up in ourselves and forget about God. We forget that our life is like the morning mist - here today and gone tomorrow. Craig challenged us to live for God and to live everyday like it is our last day. Read Notes
