The Bible teaches us to be consumed with Christ and to faithfully follow Him. The Holy Spirit stirs in us a joy and peace when we are fixated on Jesus, living by faith, and focused on the life to come. Craig looked at what it means to live a life that is wholly surrendered to God.

 

Some of us feel the need to pay God back for all He has done and to make up for our inadequacies and failures. But, the solution isn’t to try harder, make bigger promises, and fail again. Craig tells us that a better way is to be in a growing relationship with God and to give God and others the same love God gives us.

 

Craig shared with us Seven Characteristics of a Lukewarm Christian. In the process we were challenged to live as a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

 

It has been said that the longest journey a person must take in life is the eighteen inches from the head to the heart. We looked at knowing about and experiencing God’s accepting, absolute, unconditional, and unlimited love for us.
