OK, so anyone that knows Kathy very well knows that the annual Vera Bradley Sale is an event that is planned for roughly 11-1/2 months in advance. And when I say “event”, I mean something that can be likened to the early Olympic Games. I’ve heard tell of stock boys barely escaping the den of lions with their lives. Did I say lions? What I meant was “motivated shoppers” of course. Also, I’m not sure they had Greco Roman tug-of-war, but if they had I’m sure the most highly trained athletes would have thought twice about locking up with one of these ladies and her prized purse. A new event that could be added next year could be to see who can carry one of those giant pink bags the furthest when loaded down with merchandise. In all seriousness though, I’m glad Kathy, her mom, Diana and her mom were all able to enjoy this day together and make it home safely to show off their trophies.
