Safe Haven is a ministry of Trinity Reformed Church in the heart of Newark NJ, East Ward section.  This summer we launched our first summer camp for the kids of the community.  The camp is six weeks long and goes from July 7th -August 15th. Every day the kids arrive at 9 am for breakfast and then spend the next three hours learning about God and his love for them and the power he has to change their lives.  After lunch we have many different educational and recreational activities. Safe Haven Summer camp is also a job development and mentorship program for teenagers from the community.  This year we have 50 kids registered for camp and 15 youth staff helping run it.
