Our policy

Social Theorists, Methodologies and Methods aims to ensure that from each conference and meeting at least two publications are produced.  Publications are produced through Midrash Publishing. All events will have a ‘proceedings’ published with an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and the required number of copies will be sent to the major legal deposit libraries in the United Kingdom.   Most events will also result in a book made up of a selection of papers (normally revised) given.  Some conference and meetings will also have a selection of papers published in a mainstream journal as a ‘special edition’ (in a revised form).

In this way we aim to maximize not only the dissemination of ideas, arguments and research on a theorist, methodology or method but also maximize the opportunities for contributors to get published.  We will, as a matter of course ensure that their are no duplicate publications.  For this reason when we have the opportunity to publish a book or a special edition of a journal we will only published a proceedings of abstracts.

We have also written a range of research textbooks, research reports and conference proceedings.
