This was our 2nd centurio event and our first european travel for this year. A nice weekend out of which we have mixed feelings and that's because we had a great time but unfortunately we didn't perform as we expected.

We arrived in Budapest as our tickets were intially booked since the centurio was originally scheduled to take place in Hungary, but winter's weather phenomenons caused the change of plans and the transfer of the event to Bratislava, Slovakia about 200 km away from were we landed. For our transportation the organizers arranged us a mini-bus along with team Spirit of Norway.

The drive to Bratislava was one of the worst road experiences in our latest history! The driver had it's speedometer stick to a maximum 90 km breaking everyones nerves, you could see anyone from busses to grannies with wheelchairs overpassing us in an empty highway, and on top of that, this journey would not only waste us our time, but caused us to miss the field walking, as we arrived at 11 PM at the hotel.

All of our games were scheduled for Saturday noon. The first game was against CGS from Poland, in the pit area the situation can be described as chaotic, a narrow strip between the two xball fields, would serve as space for the 4 teams playing, the 4 teams waiting to play, their gear, the air-stations, game/time-keeper plus empty paint boxes which would pile up, and nobody would clean them, absolute chaos. Within this chaos all we managed to have and use within the pit area was one bench and some space (no more than 1m) around it.

As a result of this situation we went to our first game very messy as we didn't have the  time and space to properly gear up and talk about the final details of our match, it was everybody for themselves to get ready and find a way through that mess into the field!  Against CGS we managed to take the first 3 points in a few minutes but made several mistakes in the other points taking the match to a 3-3 and a matchpoint but we won the decisive point and the match.

Our next game was against Hellwood, a well known French team who recently placed 4th in the Semi-pro division of the Millennium. Every point was well fought by us, but we lacked the ability to properly attack and put pressure on them, as well the ability to defend crucial zones and mostly the snake side, which was doing the majority of damage and giving the advantage to the opposittion. This problem was caused by not having properly walked the fields and assigning specific tasks to everyone. Our strategy was crap but we could do anything because we didn't have the right knowledge and during an xball match if you haven't got a set of plans ready to just apply them you can't do anything. So we lost this match with a 4-0 score.

Our final game was with Mortifleurs, another French team who placed 4th in the 1st Centurio. This time we were playing in a new field, and things were even worst from above as it was our first game over there and Mortifleur's third making again crucial mistakes. We lost the game with a score of 4-1 .

On top of that and not as an excuse for our perfomance the reffering was very bad making wrong calls and giving 1-4-1's for nothing. We had our wrong calls and I also witnessed a lot from the spectators side, because as I saw it the referees were a mix of Eurorefs along with newly trained refs who had absolutely no idea were to stand, what to look and what decision to take, making everytime the wrong choice upseting everyone.

So that was our 2nd centurio, 1 win and 2 losses, a perfomance which didn't allow us to proceed to the next phase, and had to leave the tournament from Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, Bratislava and it's Historical city center were very pleasant to walk along and have coffee and dinner. Our hotel managed for our night entertaiment with its live-show facilities within the hotel bulding, unfortunately no room service was available but one of us had his lucky day!
