Third leg of the Hellenic Paintball Series was held again in Athens, in Paintball Village a newly build field near Athens International Airport. The atmosphere of the tournament was very good with 11 teams attending and everybody having a nice time. The organizers had done a great job providing a pleasant environment for the teams and the spectators by providing a DJ and cheerleaders :-D in between games... a first in the Greek tourney scene.

As the games started the team looked strong in the prelims, we played against everybody to secure a place for the semi finals and advanced as first without dropping a game in the preliminary round on Saturday followed by Maxs Threat, Damage and Victor Charlie.

On Sunday, we had to face Victor Charlie in a best of 3 game set to see who will advance in the finals, with a score of 2-0 we moved into the finals were we faced Maxs Threat from Thessalonica, the team which we played against in the finals of the second leg.

As in the last leg, we lost the 1st game of the finals, and had our backs against the wall. In the second game, the game quickly turned into a 3 v 3 but Spiros dived into the snake and George advanced on the other side. With around 20 seconds to go Spiros made a run through bunkering the center and corner players, while George shot the remaining corner player. The scored turned to 1-1

In the final game of the finals, it quickly turned into a 3 vs. 2 against us, with Alex and Spiros remaining in field. They soon managed to turn the game into a 2 v 2. Alex advanced into the snake while bunkering another opponent who was inside and both moved on to bunker the last remaining player in the back corner bunker.

So with a score of 2-1 victory was again for us. Spiros was voted as the most valuable player of the tournament. This was our 3rd mvp award in 3 consecutive tournaments.

So as the season has reached halfway, with 3 tournaments completed and 3 to go, Supreme is on top of the overall scoring board. Next stop is Katerini, in June.
