The first leg of the Hellenic Paintball Series (HPS) kicked off in Thessaloniki on the 4th and 5th of March. Adrenaline Challenge was one of the best showcases of Greek tourney ball, with 13 teams attending it. It was a very nice weekend with nearly 100 games played on Saturday and Sunday, a good ref team and sunny weather.

On the games, this event, our first for 2006 was kind of a testing event... as the team played mostly with our new players but we manage to perfom as expected. On the saturday preliminaries we didn't drop a game finishing 1st overall with 10 out of 10 games, followed by Blades,Mosquitos and DFT.

On Sunday, for the semi-finals we played DFT in best of the three round, and won them 2-0. Giving as a ticket to the finals were we faced Blades. We won the first game against them....when out of the sudden all went wrong...up till then we were undeafeted having 13 out of 13 games won. We lost the 2nd game against them and the 3rd game was a tie, so we had to settle the 1st place on a fourth and decisive game.... which we lost it :-(.

What a disappointment that was...having perfomed so well up till the finals and not getting to win. But as mentioned earlier the team is just starting to find its pace as soon as we do it's all back to winning.

Angel was voted the MVP of the tournament for his perfomance.

History Fact : We came 2nd after Blades last year in the 1st leg of the PBM ;-)
