This weekend was the last tournament for us, given the fact that we have stated from the beginning of the year our intention to ref the last event of the series.

On the beginning of this tournament, we were tied in the first place with Maxs Threat in the overall score, after the 2nd place in Katerini this summer. What we needed for this tournament was a place above Maxs Threat in order to have the advantage and secure the championship, since reffing teams get full points, we won't need to worry of what will happen in that last leg.

Saturday was awful, and the weather was to blame, it was windy, cloudy and cold, by far the worst conditions we have ever played paintball at, if it wasn't a tournament day I guess nobody would have gotten out of his bed at all. Bunkers were moving around from the wind and the shots were curving all the way.. terrible conditions. In our prelims, we dropped our first game against Maxs Threat but continued to win all remaining games and place 1st followed by Maxs Threat, Paintball Cyprus Factory Team and Krypteia.

On Sunday, as If we were in a completely different location from Saturday, the weather was more than fine, with no winds at all and no cold. The bunkers were set up properly and we could take advantage of the whole field and play our game as we wanted to. We faced in the semi-finals team Krypteia, a new name in the Greek scene but respectful as they have players with great experience and came after their Centurio victory in division 3 last month. We played strong games and managed to advance in the finals with a 2-0 score. After 2 controversial games Maxs Threat advanced into the finals we a 2-1 lead over PBCY.

In these finals not only we were playing for this tournament title but a victory would automatically give us the championship for this year. Tension was high, but our well executed game plan left no room for response from our opponents, in two decisive games we managed to defeat them with a high body count in a very short period of time. Victory was for us with a 2-0 score and along with it the championship title of the 2006!
