Welcome to Holy Family

Current Opportunities at Holy Family

•Holy Family’s summer worship schedule begins on Sunday, June 8, when the Sunday Liturgies will be held at 7:55am (Holy Eucharist, Rite One) and 10:05am (Holy Eucharist, Rite Two with organ).

•The 2008 VCS theme is, “We Want a King.”  For five evenings in June (22-26), Sunday through Thursday, we will learn how Israel so desperately wanted a king like the other nations and how Samuel serves God as a prophet, a judge, and as the one who is given power to anoint Israel’s first kings.  Israel, with God’s help and the hand of Samuel, calls Saul and David to serve as the first kings.  How did these kings make a path for the one true King that we have come to know in Jesus Christ?  Come to VCS this summer and you will find out and we promise you will have fun.  For more information or registration please write George Linney.

One of the great prayers of the Book of Common Prayer, concludes expressing the collective desire of Christians in every place and every time to know Jesus Christ “as he is revealed in Scripture and the breaking of the bread.” The worship at Holy Family, the commitment to Christian Education for all ages, the prayer life of the parish, the servant ministries embraced by all, the devotion to the spread of the Good News, and the fellowship we share all turn on this desire.  On behalf of the Vestry and People of Holy Family I invite you to come and share in this community as we seek to know and serve Jesus Christ.
