My “Do Before We Leave” List

With less than three months left in Europe, I have already begun to check off items that I want to do or experience before we leave.  It may be a while before we are ever back in this neck of the woods, so I want to soak up as much “culture” as possible!
 
  1.   Visit Assisi
  2.   Visit Zoo Safari with kiddos one more time
  3.   Make fresh-squeezed lemonade again
  4.   Hike Mt. Vesuvius (the volcano that buried Pompeii)
  5.   A special return visit to an amazing restaurant on the island of Procida
  6.   See the “Veiled Christ” sculpture downtown
  7.   Several trips to some of our favorite local restaurants
  8.   Make fresh squid again (fried calamari!)  
  9.   A personal JAM (Jesus & Me) day at Caserta Palace Gardens
  10.   Send a box of Italian food goodies ahead of us to the States
