Brian and I had the privilege of getting away for a few days for our five-year anniversary this weekend.   A friend stayed with our girls so that we could get some quality time to ourselves.  It was wonderful!  We stole away to a 4-square-kilometer island just off the coast of Naples, called Procida.  The hotel (pictured above) I had found for us turned out to be just as amazing as the description (and that’s pretty rare here in southern Italy).  So, we spent our time wandering the narrow streets, sipping on several cappuccinos, watching the local fishermen, eating some amazing food, and experiencing hair-raising bus rides across the island.  We feel so blessed to have been able to get away and reminisce about our first five years together and all that God has done.  It causes us to look forward to our next five years with great anticipation!
