Senior Yuriy Vereshchagin play’s Prokofiev’s First Concerto. He played this piece on November 10 and 11 at the Robert M. Spire Piano Competition for High School Students. The competition included two categories, and Vereshchagin played pieces composed by Beethoven, Liszt, and Bach, but Prokofiev’s First Concerto won him the gold.
