Who we are....
Dirk Dominick

Dirk is a business owner and former musician who has lived in both Austria and France.  He has degrees in German language and European history and has owned property in the south of France for the last nine years.  During that time he developed an insatiable curiosity for discovering new and interesting places in this beautiful region.  Having enjoyed so many wonderful experiences, he decided it was time to share his fascination and love for travel with others, and hence, Bascom & Chick was born.  Dirk strongly believes that travel is not only fun, but essential to good living.

Catherine Dominick

Catherine is an accomplished mixed media artist who has long been enchanted by the colors, light, and textures of southern France.  With a degree in Fine Arts and a sincere love of painting, she has scoured the region for the finest galleries, the most interesting art exhibits, and the best places to soak in the unique light of the region.  Catherine shares with Dirk a love of food and wine and a strong desire to show travelers an often-missed and truly magical region of France.

Mademoiselle Yamina Fellah

Born and raised in Cannes, Yamina is a powerful and indispensable force of positive energy!  Her mother tongue, of course, is French, but she also speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.  Yamina provides a local’s knowledge of the riches of the Alpes-Maritimes.  She paints, she dances, she sings, and she soaks up life with great intensity.

Whether she’s in her home in the foothills or tending to her “grainge” in the mountains, you can be sure she’s making new friends and planning exciting events.  We are extremely fortunate to have her as part of our team.
