The Papworth clan
Hey Megs, remember when I had you and your friends convinced you could use your Dining Plus meal plan at Maverick to buy frozen yogurt? Freshman - they are so naive :) Good story.
I've known Meg since she was a freshman at BYU. Since that time, she married one of the coolest dudes (insert bomb drop for Jeff), produced some stellar offspring, and taken up photography. Her husband Jeff called me months ago to see if he could arrange for Meg to sit down with me and show her how I do everything - camera techniques, post-processing, etc. It was her Christmas gift and we finally got around to having them out for a little shootshop.
We talked for hours, then had Jeff's brother and his mini-family-o'-radness come along to be our models. It goes without saying that if you are even remotely associated with the last name PAPWORTH - then you are rad.
Check out Meg's blog and show her some love

Extra [crisp]y
Prepare yourself for a deep thought...by yours truly....Mike Cunningham.
Some people order their chicken tenders extra crispy because they feel the extra bit of crispiness translates into an elevated eating experience. What were to happen if one were to have an extra [Crisp]y photo shoot.....? Yes, indeed...an elevated photo experience.
Such was my experience hanging with la Familia Crisp. They are insanely awesome. It's always a blast to be hanging out with people - laughing about the most random stuff - and snap a few pics. Here's a few of my favs:

Los Bradley
Zach has done quite well for himself. Not only is his wife Brenda the coolest thing since velcro, his kids are works of art. Zach - I'm glad you're my friend. NOSIT for life.
Here's a few we quickly snapped in front of my Mom's house in Draper before Zach and Brenda shoved off for Mexico for a while.

YOu wish your last name was Ross
If you know a Ross, then you'll surely understand. They are the kind of people you're glad to call friends. True story....Mike used to live behind me growing up in the hood of Sandy, UT and Lindsey's younger brother and I used to spend the weekends throwing pilfered creamer packets (from 7 Eleven of course) at each other's car. RIP Eddie Bauer Edition Explorer....
Ok, enough of me divulging past transgressions and morsels of my memory. Mike and Linds are beyond rad and so are there two little girls. I know Linds because her brother is my MD and we've become quite the photo buddies. I've been amazed at watching her work improve as much as it has over the past year and I look forward to what the future holds for her. Feast your eyes upon some of this... http://lindsayrossphotography.blogspot.com/
Luckily, she invited me to come hang out with her fam for a bit and bring my camera.....check it.

Washington D.C. - Part 1
Ok, sit tight. This is post number one of my awesome weekend in D.C. I caught the red-eye Thursday night on the uber swank Virgin Airlines and jetted myself over to visit the fam. It was suuuuuch a good time. Bryan, Andrea, Will and Henry - I miss you guys already.
We wanted to do some family pics so I thought it would be cool to head over to one of the National Monuments for some swanky backdrops. We managed to agree that Mr. Jefferson and his memorial provided a very nice photo booth. Here are the shots we got.

Nelson Family embraces Newport Beach Fog
The Nelson clan is probably cooler than you. Sorry if that is harsh - just deal with it :)
They live in Draper about 1/2 mile from where sweet little Nance resides and have being awesome down to a T. In fact, I'm convinced Diane and Carey bottle that stuff up on the weekends and ship it out to less awesome parts of the world. Really, they are just that awesome. And the fact that they found a way to package awesomeness - is, well for lack of a better word, just awesome. Cozmo, their dog, however is not awesome. I've never liked him and he has never liked me. We agreed long ago to dislike one another.
I could go on for hours about this family - and even longer about Cort. We've shared some pretty good times together. Whether it was laughing at J Curtis numb on the couch of Davis' cabin or spilling gas on one another at Chevron while filling gas cans for undisclosed non-arson reasons, we've always managed to come away with some good laughs. Sometimes I wish Juice Tree was around so I could go in there and have Cort whip me up a Red Cranberry Hummer smoothie and sip it perched on atop the Eagles Nest.
These cats are like 2nd family to me. I love them to death. They were in town last week (just in time for the ridiculous fog) so I snapped a few impromptu pix. Here you go.

ryan & erica + 1
About 9 months ago, Ryan and Erica decided to put a little roast of awesomeness in Erica's belly. Well Erica is about to pop and I was stoked to take some photos for them. They are great friends of mine and we had a lot of fun shooting these. I'll look forward to more at the Hospital! Ryan might need my support :)

The Kickin' Kartchners
I had a super good time chasing this family around the streets of Newport Beach. They were such a delight to work with. Special thanks to Aunt Chari-O for helping with the crowd control :)

The Kent Family
If Clark Kent were a real human being powered by special rocks from planet Vultron, then the Kent family would be their cousins. Colin was my roomie back at BYU. He's always been a great friend, except when his wife starts hitting on me....then things get awkward. I always said Jamie was dating Colin just to get closer to me. I think her plan worked.
Anywho, they have an amazingly awesome little girl named Presley. I managed to catch a few impromptu snaps of them while in Utah.

My nephews are cooler than yours.....
I'm sorry...I know that sounds a bit harsh...but hey...it's how I feel :) I just got back from a quick weekend trip to Utah. The whole fam was in town and we had a blast.
I just started downloading the first memory card and couldn't help but post a couple of shots....I have the greatest fam in the world. I am so lucky to have them. Miss you guys already.

The Pearce Fam
Randy has been one of the greatest friends ever to me.
Several years back when I was still a punk trying to figure out where I fit in with the High School crowds...ol' Randal befriended me. One of the best things that's ever happened to me and I'll never forget it. I ended up with the best friends in High School a punk teenager could ask for. It has influenced my life ever since.
The rest is history and a whole lot of NOSIT :) ..... well except now he has a wife and two kids. They made a trip down to CA for the 4th of July and stayed at Sunset Beach, which happens to be just up PCH from me. I gladly strolled up there to snap some photos of their little fam.
