Interiors by B. Stiles
This is something different for me. I don't usually photograph interiors, but had a good time doing these. My friend Brittany is quite the designer. Here are a few rooms she put together. Check her out:

The folks over at Pulte Homes / Del Webb were kind enough to invite me out again to one of their raging marketing parties. Sun City Apple Valley is one of Del Webb's active adult communities - and by all means are they active. These peeps rock the house!
Thanks again Ryan and Del Webb for letting me hang out and snap a few pics.
Pulte Homes and Del Webb were kind enough to invite me out for another kickin' event. This time it was a car show and more free beer of course. Every guest was given a meal ticket good for a burger and chips and an endless supply of bubbly cough medicine. Good times were had by all.
These active adult communities just crack me up. The people are so awesome and entertaining. I had one guy (not pictured below to protect his identity) tell me a story about his first sexual experience in the back of his car.....ya I know....kinda weird - but hilarious. I had another gentlemen see some lady come walking our way - then quickly said to me - "Hurry! Turn and look the other way. Booooy you doooo NOT want to get caught up talking to her. Oh no...that lady is CRAZY - ummm um." I about died laughing. Good to know that social irregularities still occur even at the elevated age brackets.
I have a close friend named Ryan. Ryan likes marketing. Ryan is very smart and motivated. Ryan used to be the event coordinator, but is now the Assistant Marketing Director for Pulte Homes in Southern Cal. Congratulations Ryan!
Ok, enough with the fragments. Ryan and the folks over at Summit Event Catering put on a kickin' Mardi Gras party to promote one of their Del Webb communities in Indio. He asked if I'd tag along and snap some pics :)
When he first told me about it.... I was a little nervous. Often times the general public gets angry when you start flashing a big camera in their face. However, such was not the case with these "Active Adults." I kid you not when I say that they were some of the coolest people ever! Everyone was so nice and gladly welcomed the camera. Maybe it was just the free beer and food.
My good friend and third mother Brooke (the stunning brunette below) works for Garden View Care Center in Baldwin Park. They were looking to get some images for a new brochure and website they will be rolling out soon and asked if I could help. I was honored.
I learned two things the other day helping my friend: (1) Senior Citizens are some of the coolest/most humble people around and (2) the people who make a career of ensuring their constant care are saints in my book. It was a nice reminder that you don't need much in this life to be happy.
Now I'm not sure what all I can show you, but here are a few that should suffice.
