I like props

Hi, my name is Mike Cunningham and I like props. 

How many of your peeps do you know who have portraits on the beach?  If you live in California, you probably know several.  I love beach shots too, but like them to be different.  I like to do different things and try to incorporate something unique about my surroundings.

Take Dane and Jesse for example.  Both of them are retarded awesome and wanted some shots on the beach.  Sweet.  But even sweeter when you throw a 3-pronged spear into the mix :)  Just how I like it.  So random..... to the point where you're left saying to yourself......"WTH was he thinking....but you know..... I kinda dig it."
