Places we can call “Home” are precious to us all. The post atomic age makes human contact more and more tenuous. We often become to busy to keep track of our friends or work too far away from our roots to keep close to our families. Internet communities are a marvellous way to stay in touch, continue to play together, and even extend the circle of our friends... meet people we wouldn’t have been able to meet otherwise.
In many ways - as strange and sad as it can sound - It can even draw you closer. A bizarre aberration which makes friendship more instantaneous, a friendship that we can switch on and off with our computers, filtering the relationships to only keep the good stuff.
