On May 12, I will begin a three week-long journey through Ukraine, Sweden, and London that will end in Kampala, Uganda.  I am traveling with an organization, Passion Conferences, which I have been working with for several months.  Basically, Passion brings together university-aged students and gives them the opportunity to experience God and then go out and practically make a difference on their campus, in their community, and in their world. It has truly been an amazing journey for meand I am so incredibly blessed to get to help facilitate this for university students in different places around the world.

> The part that gets me REALLY excited, though, is that the last stop for me with Passion is in Kampala, Uganda.  I will be a part of an event that is expecting to draw in 30,000 university studentsor more!   What an amazing opportunity to walk alongside a generation that has the ability to stand up and be a light in a dark countrya place where children are kidnapped to fight a warto make a change in their world and be a voice for the hopeless.  I cant wait!  That is all happening on May 30-31, so I would appreciate your prayers for that time.

>> And, if that werent enough!!! After all that is said and done, I am going to STAY in Uganda for 2 months and work with an organization that is involved in some amazing work all around the country.  I will be living and working in the village of Ggaba, which is right on Lake Victoria.  One of the first projects I will have the opportunity to work on is to help restructure a sponsorship program for university students at a local college.  Then, as that work is completed, I will be able to join in other project work in the village.  Im so excited to have the ability to be a part of so many different things while Im there.  Id love for you to check out where Ill be living and serving.
