The Barn, an almost-three-year-old emergent faith community in the Lehigh Valley, is looking for a PT partner who is skilled at working with gifted, volunteer artists to lead our community with passion as we worship. This person should possess a heart for worship, and have a mastery of at least one instrument (guitar or keyboard) themselves, and preferably some formal training.

We seek someone with a worship vision that is excited by the creative use of all kinds of media (NOOMAs, mainstream movie clips, secular songs, Christian songs, hymns, TV shows, digital media, etc) and the creative use of artistic expressions (drawings, paintings, writings, dance, drama, etc) from both within and outside our community. We’re looking for a partner who loves working with people and is energized by leading volunteer teams (these teams are in existence but will need to be expanded) of artists in pastoral, community-developing ways.

We desire a ministry partner who loves equipping and building community, is missionally based, and is very comfortable manifesting Christ in community to Christians, seekers and skeptics. The Barn is highly committed to loving neighbor where they are and opening the possibility to people to consider God, and particularly Jesus as Lord. Our Mission Statement is simple: Love Wins.

The worship leader would walk alongside the Pastor, the Administrative
and Children/Youth Partners and Barn participants (particularly the Arts and Music Teams) in both visioning casting and planning.
