I direct the above statement to all

“critics.”

My reason is simple:

They don’t get it.

What do I mean?

Well, not every movie is meant to be an Oscar winner, yet most critics rate every movie as though it’s in the running for an Academy Award.

Most movies aren’t, for sure,

but what’s the main purpose of going

to the movies*?     Fun.

That’s right, FUN.

And, escape from reality.

And, BJs in the back row.

And, apparently to some, a place to crinkle candy wrappers loudly enough to cause brain damage...

But, I digress...

Take a movie for what it is,

not what it should be.

That’s always been my philosophy.

However, this philosophy doesn’t mean that there aren’t horrible movies, it just means that you have to put it in the proper context.

So, this site is that proper context.

I tell you my view, which is right, and then I tell you the views of all the people I saw the movie with, or people who’ve offered their opinions.

By the end of the review, you should have a pretty good idea of what the target audience is, whether or not you’d like it, and whether or not the critics just like being first to break bad news.

P.S. - I’m a big fan of the whole “Freedom of Speech” thing... I understand that you may be offended... But, look at it this way:

If you are being offended,

freedom of speech is alive and well.

I dread the day no one is offended.

*Movies, Games, Entertainment in general.
