In 1997, AIA Wyoming established The Architectural Education Foundation of AIA Wyoming and created the Christopher Robin Hard Scholarship to memorialize fellow colleague, Chris Hard, AIA, following his untimely death.
After incorporating, obtaining federal non-profit status, and raising a sustaining endowment, the AEF-AIAW gave its first Christopher Robin Hard Scholarship of $2000 in 2001.
Continuously since the first award, the AEF-AIAW has granted The Hard Scholarship annually to deserving Wyoming students of architecture.
