I’m an elitist snob!
May 19, 2007 6:40 PM
And I love it! Most people would a) never admit it, or b) think that this is a bad thing. Why? I may be an elitist snob, but I don’t hate other people. In fact, it is the diversity of both social, economic, and personal taste that make this world so beautiful. I just happen to like my standing and

Kids in the Hall... you are not forgotten!
March 10, 2007 2:01 PM
One of the comedy groups that has had an influence on my sense of humor has been The Kids in the Hall. If you don’t remember (and let’s not hear that you don’t know), they were a motley crew of young Canadians that had a regular show on HBO. Sure, they made a few crap-tastic films that sort of

Do you dream of robots?
February 8, 2007 10:12 PM
Is it odd to dream of large mechanized robots engaged in battle like something out of those crazy Japanese cartoons? Maybe I’ve subconsciously absorbed the Transformers movie trailer and my dreams are morphing this into large robots with fracking large guns. But the robots I dream of don’t “

The Return or the End?
December 29, 2006 8:49 PM
I’ll skip the cliched line “I’ve been uber-busy” and just say that I lost interest in blogging. Why? Information overload. There are so many sites out there that I’m buried in the noise of other self-centered individuals who believe people really want to hear their inane drivel.
The BACR site will

One week... afterthoughts
July 17, 2006 10:01 PM
I hesitated to post about the result of the World Cup because I was devastated. As you may know, France lost to Italy in a 1-1 game that was decided by penalty kicks (I was routing for France). Zidane’s headbutt of Materazzi for a red card was the talk of the world for about 3 days and then it

Les Bleus vs Azzurri
July 8, 2006 10:43 PM
Yes! France and Italy will be battling it out tomorrow afternoon for the claim to the FIFA World Cup. As you may know (or have read from the previous entries), I’m a big fan of the French team. I’m hoping they will win tomorrow. I wore my French jersey twice this week to support my team and will

FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals
June 28, 2006 7:53 PM
Wow! This has been an amazing World Cup. We are now down to the quarterfinals and the teams still alive are some of the best in the world (duh!). The quarterfinal match-ups include Germany vs Argentina, Italy vs Ukraine, England vs Portugal, and Brazil vs France.
I’m happy that my favored French

FIFA World Cup Update
June 15, 2006 9:13 PM
The first round hasn’t finished yet, but I’ve seen enough to make some calls. My picks are what I will consider the first place finishers in the groups.
Group A: Ecuador has played very well. They may not be as aggressive as some of the other teams in the WC, but they have the finesse to make some

Copa Mundial/World Cup 2006
June 6, 2006 10:47 PM
I promised to share my favorite teams for the World Cup. Smart money is on Brazil to win the Cup this year. However, I’ve had a keen interest in France since I correctly predicted they would win starting the Round of 16. France was a disappointment in 2002, but they seem to have recouped over the

iWeb 1.1 Updates
May 21, 2006 2:20 PM
If you’ve been wondering why there haven’t been any updates in a while, it’s because I’ve been waiting for iWeb 1.1 to be released. The new version fixes a lot of the bugs, deficiencies, and pains in the ass of the first version. Understandably, iWeb 1.0 was Apple’s first attempt that was rough

Here’s where I post my nutty rants and raves, opinions about stuff, and the latest movie news. If you want to provide feedback about the blog, just send an email to blogonuts@mac.com. Juicy updates will be plenty and often so... come on back y’all!
