Proud to be Devonshire born and bred, the port of Brixham is my mother town.

The sea is in my blood; many of my family have earned their living on the water.

Thus I am fascinated by all things nautical.

The natural world is also a love of mine, be it sea life or countryside, I marvel at the beauty of nature.

I have led an active and sporting life. I have played a variety of sports to a reasonable competitive standard. My love is badminton, which I still continue to play. I also follow the “beautiful game” of football, in particular Arsenal.

Since the beginning of the nineties, I have lived and breathed computers. I love everything to do with them. Having both an enquiring mind and being an organised person, I found that I was able to learn about computers, easily. One never stops learning though and I am constantly wanting to learn more.

Recently I visited the Apple Store, Princesshay, Exeter. There I fell in love with an iMac. Always one for a challenge, I decided to purchase it.

This site now exists because of that decision. I am very excited. Apple products are a joy to behold, they are aesthetically pleasing and very well designed.

Because of my enthusiasm for computers, I am able to teach the subject in such a way, that computer shy people are able to grasp the basics fairly quickly. This pleases me no end. Unlike youngsters of today, older people have not been brought up with computers and therefore have to overcome their  “fears” and maybe work a little harder, in order to get to grips with these modern day machines.

If I can make that task a little bit easier and more enjoyable then I am happy.
