2008 Winners - Environmental Science
 
2008 Science Fair Awards  Environmental Science  We had 12 projects submitted in the environmental science category. Our judges were Mark Lamade and David Promis, both with the Coosa River Basin Initiative. First Place Award   Charlie Waters “Which habitat type has the greatest plant diversity?” The judges said: “Well thought out! You made good use of time and effort and made careful measurements.” 2nd Place Award    Rosa Kuss “What uses more water -- a shower or a bath?” The judges said: “Good scientific procedure. Good job!” 3rd Place Award   Fatima Waseem “Yucky Stuff in Our Houses” The judges said: “You made careful samplings.”
