Our beautiful villa outside Barberino Val d’Elsa in Chianti is a spacious independent villa which dates back to the 1800s. It is a typical Tuscan Baronial villa, 600 square meters over two floors.

The many large windows and doors allow the sun to filter through and gloriously illuminate the interiors. The house has brick vaulted ceilings on the ground floor and wooden beams on the first floor and terra-cotta floor tiles throughout.  Located between Florence and Siena, and 200 meters,from the village of Barberino Val d'Elsa, it’s an easy walk from town.

Given its close proximity to town, the villa ensures absolute privacy, thanks to the 37 acres of olive trees that stand between the town and the guest houses. In this area there is also a small vineyard, fruit trees, and a garden from which there are breathtaking views.

There are three areas that make a large triple living/dining room, which includes comfortable sofas and armchairs along with a Satellite TV and CD player.

The dining room has a table for 12 plus another table for extra guests. The second living room has a double sofa bed. A third living room has a fireplace, piano and small library containing books written in English as well as a small service bathroom. All areas on this floor are connected by a corridor, off of which is a small office area with an internet connection and a small laundry room. There is a large double kitchen with two stoves, 3 ovens, large American style refrigerator, American coffee machine and dishwasher.  Adjoining the kitchen is a charming covered terrace.

All five bedrooms have en-suite baths, king size beds, fireplaces and magnificent views.
