Sunday School The Sunday School meets Sundays 9:50 - 10:45 AM and after the Sunday Liturgy. Lunches are held after Sunday Liturgy in the parish hall. Directions General Location St John the Baptist Church is located on the corner of Essex and Adeline Streets in Berkeley, CA. By BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Exit at the Ashby station on the Richmond line. The Church is located two doors from the east BART parking lot. By freeway Take the Ashby exit on Interstate 80 and drive toward the Berkeley hills. Turn right on Adeline St. The Church is about one block on the left. From downtown Berkeley Go south on Shattuck Ave and veer off on Adeline St until you come to Essex.
