We are directed from within, with purpose - not as an obligation or
"duty" - but purpose ... even if we cannot define it.  But we know. There is an intrinsic knowledge.

Why the name “TheSpiritWalk”?  The terms SpiritWalker and SpiritWalk are ancient terms, and have many definitions – for the purposes of this site, it is simply “to walk with Spirit”.  It is not a site of religion - TheSpiritWalk is not intending to change your beliefs - but rather this site seeks to help you fulfill them even more. It is simply a site of spirit.  It doesn’t matter what God or Gods you believe in ... or if you believe in one life or in many … our purpose here is to help you find that true voice within you in this life. To find the most sacred power of all … your heart-spirit.

When we do not listen to our spirit directing us, the road becomes difficult ... we seem to lose our way, our vision becomes clouded and we become driven by the "shoulds" and "oughts" of life. We struggle to control what should instead be released. And we struggle to find peace again. TheSpiritWalk hopes to help you find that direction and set you toward taking steps to walking your own journey ... to guide you toward learning to listen to the answers, and to the unique awareness that lies in all of us. We only need learn to listen closely.  As Matthew Arnold said: "Resolve to be thyself: Know that he who finds himself, loses his misery."

Many books, talk-show gurus, and websites will speak as if they have definitive answers for you.  Many attempt to tell you what your Truth is. TheSpiritWalk makes no such claims, but rather believes that each person’s purpose is completely individual – intended for that person alone – only they, themselves, can find it. The answers we seek lie within our own heart and spirit. The "heart-spirit". It is the voice of the Creator, and it whispers to every one of us … we only need learn how to listen carefully and follow its leading. The hope of TheSpiritWalk is to begin to show you how to hear this Spirit ... how to find your path, your purpose and to walk that path. The door is within you … TheSpiritWalk only desires to provide the key that will unlock the gateway to your own awakening.

We are put here with purpose, and only in finding our individual and unique path do we find a deep and true commitment to Life. And to Love. We discover real and true peace, joy and contentment. There is a deep security - and a sanctuary - in being who we are.  And a freedom to be. Then, and only then, are we our legitimate selves, and free to grow strong and beautiful where ever we are planted.
"Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny –
He has something to fulfill, some message has to be delivered, some work has to be completed... You are not here accidentally - you are here meaningfully.
There is a purpose behind you.
The whole intends to do something through you."
